I'm sharing one of my favorite pizza spots, and even more importantly my favorite pizza in St. Louis. I know, I know Imo's is a St. Louis favorite. Well, you haven't tried the Molto Carne. If you had, hands down you would be devoted to Il Vicino. Il Vicino sits at the corner of North Central and Maryland Ave. in Downtown Clayton. A casual restaurant that serves some great salads, panini, pasta, and calzones. I digress, let me describe the Molto Carne. My mouth is watering just thinking of it. Think crispy crust, marinara, mozzarella, pepperoni, crumbles of sausage, capocollo ham, calamata olives, mushrooms, and fresh bits of oregano. MMMMM!!! Give it a shot. I don't think you will be disappointed. 41 N. Central, 727-1333, Sun-Thurs 11am-10pm, Fri-Sat 11am-11pm. Eat-in or takeout.
